Using Green to Make Green

In urban markets, trees and gardens attract buyers.

Check out this Forbes.com article to see how several in-fill projects used a “floating forest”- 30 foot tall trees set stories above street level- differentiated the project’s amenities and appeal. Renderings in your project will not only highlight this idea, it will demonstrate the concept and sell your project. If you’re a buyer looking for an escape from the urban world then this project has to be on your list.

Here are a few tips on how to market this amenity:

  • Use exterior renderings - While the inside of your home is considered your primary living space, use exterior renderings to satisfy the people who want outdoor living spaces. Show that completely surrounding you is nature, so your location in the building is not an issue.
  • Use animation - Empasize that with an abundance of trees, the roads are nowhere to be seen from your unit- but are accessible. Instead of the typical view and patio furniture on the balcony- show the lush greens, people taking a walk and enjoying nature.
  • Use scale models - Scale Models can easily show buyers how accessible they are to the amenities offered. Buyers are able to see that when stepping out of the floor unit, you’re stepping into a park filled with nature trails, gazebos, and fountains.
  • It’s a simple idea- give your buyers just enough to help them visualize themselves in your amenities.
